500 million users can't be wrong, but Facebook has taken a while to turn its essentially social engine into a platform for promotion and sales. What can this free tool do for your business? What are the costs involved in growing your presence through advertising? How many pages, profiles and groups should you have? How can you use Facebook applications to create relevant content and connectivity for your fans and friends, and how can you measure your success. This workshop reveals up to the minute information and tactics to help your business get started on Facebook, whilst identifying and minimising risks.

What the course will cover:

  • Profiles vs pages vs groups - what's the difference in use and structure?
  • Getting your privacy settings right
  • Creating a Facebook page for your business, product or brand
  • Linking Facebook to your other social media streams
  • Facebook content - how to create content to engage your audience
  • Community pages - using them to establish expertise
  • Facebook applications - we recommend and test the best

Please remember to bring your own laptop
